But the definition by Kreskin is an accurate definition. He defines hypnosis as “a persuasion to accept a suggestion”. He separates the trance state from hypnosis instead he relates hypnosis with the persuasion.
Hypnosis is the process in which you persuade a subject to follow your suggestion. In the nutshell, Hypnosis is the process of establishing a faith relationship between you and your subject.

Hypnosis is a state of relaxation; it is normal and natural, and is a proven therapeutic aid. People are usually Physically relaxed during hypnosis but in a heightened state of focused awareness. Relaxation is the only primary focus of hypnosis which actually helps relieve anxieties and allows greater relaxation in a far shorter period of time than natural sleep. There are no negative effects of Hypnosis.
