The Facts About Free Trial Health Supplements
I overheard a conversation today at work and it sort of bugged me, so I figured I would write about it to give you my opinions. The conversation was happening between 2 other girls and they were talking about the free trial vitamin supplements provided on the web. One girl, her name is Mary, had just got her complimentary bottle of an acai berry product sent to her home and was excited about it and was talking about it with another girl Stephanie. Stephanie instantly began telling Mary she had been milked, and how the whole free trial deal on the web is a cheat and how nothing is free, how her Visa card was going to be billed time after time and there is likely nothing she’ll be able to do about it. Yada, yada yada. Mary went from extremely excited to terribly sad but she actually needn’t feel that way. I’ll explain why.
I myself get free trial products from the Internet all the time. I have received trials of acai berry supplements, red wine resveratrol supplements, colon cleansing supplements, acai with pomegranate, you name it, I almost certainly used it or still use it. Was I victim of fraud? Not at all. So, what’s all the discussion about being defrauded and the way the products aren’t actually free, or whether they actually even work?
I will try to answer these statements one at a time. Are the supplements free? Not entirely, but for the most part, yup. You see, you are given a trial bottle of the product, whether it be a fourteen day trial, thirty day trial, whatever. However, you have got to pay for the freight charges. For the most part it’s less than 10 dollars. That’s where the primary cost comes in. So why do they charge shipping and give the product free? Well, a lot of people won’t try something if they aren’t sure if it works, but if they do not have alot to lose, they might give it a try. The manufacturers know this, which explains why they give you the 1st bottle free. They ask for a credit card number to pay the shipping because they are confident about their supplements and they want you to continue as a customer, so the fine print is that they will charge your creditcard again after 30 days and send you a new bottle. If you do not want to be charged because the product didn’t work for you, and it may not work because everybody is unique, everyone is unique, than just phone the toll free phone number and cancel. Simple as that. And you won’t be billed again. I have done this time and again without hassle and I pay close attention to my Mastercard statements and have seen no shady business going on.
You see, providing something for free up front, asking for a Mastercard to pay the freight, and rebilling monthly is a great business structure. It works, that’s why these firms do it. They know what works and they need to make money. I do not believe that any of them are looking to trick anyone or they would not be in business very long. Almost all of the clients like the product and see results so the company knows they’ll recover the expenses of offering anything free. Plus I am sure they get a decent profit margin so it doesn’t take them long.
Now, using famous celebrities to help with promotion is a bit shady I admit, but that has been going on for a while. Watch any commercial and see if you are unable to spot a star. And do you believe they really use the product being advertised. I doubt it. They likely do it for the paycheck. Those kinds of promos online are being tightened up on so you probably won’t see much of that anymore anyways.
As for the safety of the supplements, I personally only bother with super foods or supplements that are natural. I do not hunt down weight control products with chemicals and other fillers. I am getting products that contribute to well being, not ones which make me more ill. In the case of acai, I will be getting extraordinarily powerful antioxidants to keep the free radicals at bay. For colonic cleansing products, I’m going to be getting assistance ridding my body of built up waste and losing pounds in the process.
That’s it for now. I hope I cleared up any confusion and that you’re feeling more secure about any free trial product offers available on the net.
I’m a proud user of free trial health vitamin supplements on the Internet. The thing is, I don’t desire to spend money on something that doesn’t work for my body type, so I am happy I am offered a cheap testing price i.e. the shipping price. Though I can not attest for all free trial offers on line, here are a pair I have had success with: Puritan Acai, Reviews Of Resveratrol and Pure Cleanse Dietry Supplement.
